Pet Friendly MDI
Mount Desert Island (MDI) is a great place to go on vacation with your pet! Acadia is the #1 most pet-friendly national park with dogs being allowed on most trails while on a 6-foot leash. In the summer, water bowls line Main Street and Cottage Street as most businesses are also pet friendly including the fare-free Island Explorer bus system. Please be responsible and clean up after your pet(s) so that these privileges are extended to all of us in the future!
